Suncoast Tax and Ledger

I'm Cole Young, CPA, and I started Suncoast Tax and Ledger for people who want their finances handled carefully and communicated clearly.

Before I opened a tax and bookkeeping practice, I helped build and operate small service businesses here in Sarasota. I started those businesses because I wanted to help people. Over time, I realized I was just as drawn to the business side: keeping systems clean, staying on top of details, and making sure the numbers were accurate.

That interest turned into a decision to go all in on accounting. I attended the University of South Florida, completed degrees in Accounting and Finance, and earned my CPA license in 2025. Along the way I interned with EY and volunteered with IRS VITA, which reinforced what I value most: doing the work carefully, staying compliant, and making the process easier for the person on the other side of it.
